Prices include Bed & Breakfast in 3 to 5 star hotels, or down to earth Bed & Breakfast establishments as well as Back Packers. Dinner can be included on request.

South Africa has been chosen to host the IPL (Indian Premier League) Crickets for 2009 starting on the 18 April with Port Elizabeth hosting some of the matches.

In 2010 South Africa will host the FIFA 2010 Championships and again Port Elizabeth is allocated for a match in our newly built, 20th century stadium.

About Umzantsi Afrika
Umzantsi Afrika Tours has been in operation since 2002 and is run by Lyn and Peter Haller.
- Lyn is Operations Manager as well as a THETA (SATOUR) qualified and registered tour guide. She was born in South Africa, a descendant of German and British settlers and has a great passion for her country's fauna, flora and historical heritage.
- Peter is an Austrian-born citizen who has been a resident in South Africa since 1969. He is a qualified, registered tour guide with THETA (ex SATOUR) and is fluent in both English and German. He has extensive experience in cultural, nature and geological/fossil tours.
Our guides:
- Terry Wilson was born in Botswana, schooled in Zambia and South Africa and for the last 40 years has lived in the Eastern Cape and considers himself a true African. He is a qualified, registered tourist guide with THETA (SATOUR) in English and has extensive experience in cultural, nature and the history of the Cape Province.
- Constantino Fotakis, known as Tino by his friends is a qualified Tourist Guide and is accredited by THETA (SATOUR). He is fluent in Spanish after having spent various years in Spain. Born in South Africa of Greek parents give him the added knowledge of being able to also speak English, Afrikaans and Greek. He has a broad knowledge on many subjects concerning the country as well as its wild-life and is well known for his ability to make your tour enjoyable and interesting.
- Eddie Gutthater emigrated from Germany in 1965 and in 1996 he went on early retirement. As he has always enjoyed travelling and toured South Africa extensively since arriving in the country, as well as our bordering countries of Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozanbique and Lestho, he decided he would like to be a tourist guide and so qualified for the Eastern Cape in 2006 and then later, in 2007, for Western Cape. The areas he specializes in is between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town as well as tours around East London and Port Elizabeth.
- Deon Spies is a born and bred Port Elizabethan with a vast knowledge of the Eastern Cape. He has however traveled extensively in the Southern and Western Cape and has a dearth of knowledge of those “off the beaten track placesâ€. He is a Theta (SATOUR) approved and registered guide with English and a rudimentary knowledge of Italian. He has for many years been an avid fisherman and accompanies clients on deep sea fishing trips.
